Survivors

Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) which is one of the world's strongest and deadliest typhoons, prompting a rare public storm signal no. 4 in Visayas. 1976 Mindanao earthquake with a magnitude of 7.9, this tsunamigenic earthquake caused buildings to collapse. And the Mt. Pinatubo eruption which damaged houses and buildings in Luzon. Those are just some of the natural disasters that happened in the Philippines which killed thousands and thousands of people in the Philippines. Including ambushes  and endless wars in Mindanao that trampled their human rights, such as the right to live.

Filipinos had suffered a lot from these natural disasters and non- stop killing in Mindanao. But, the Filipinos never give up. Despite of all the pain and all the suffering, they still survived and ready to stand again. They didn't lose hope from God. The hope was written or seen all over their faces. They smile even during a disaster. They still manage to wave at the camera even though their life is already in danger. They show their unity in facing any challenges or problems that comes in their way. Filipinos proved that they don't easily fall.

Truly Filipinos are resilient.
